The coronavirus emerged in China.
When it began to spread outside of China, then the most numbers of cases were witnessed in Italy and Iran. But the situation today is that the USA has surpassed even Italy and Iran.
In the matter of the cases of coronavirus, America has become the world's worst-affected country.
More than 123,000 confirmed cases, over 2,200 deaths, and more than 3,200 recoveries.
This is the current situation as I make this article.
More than 123,000 cases in total have never been seen before in any other country yet.
What are the reasons behind this?
Why is the coronavirus affecting the USA the most?
And is there an ongoing political game between China and the US regarding the Coronavirus?
We'll decode all of this in today's article.

The drastic rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the USA can be seen easily.
When the first death due to Coronavirus was reported in the USA, it took about a month to reach a total of 1000 cases from that point of time.
But it took a period of just 3 days to reach the 2000 mark from the 1000 mark.
This will help you gauge how quickly the number of cases and the number of deaths is rising.
Why the USA is most affected by Coronavirus ( Chinese Virus)?
The first reason is quite obvious- tourism and travel.Which are the countries that most tourists throng to?
France is at number 1, Spain is at number 2 and the USA is at number 3.
If you consider the reverse scenario- which are the countries that most of the tourists travel from?
then the USA occupies the second spot (on that list).
So you can see, from both the angles, there is a lot from tourism- both to the USA and from the USA by the US citizens traveling to foreign countries. This increases the interaction which in turn increases the chances of the spread of the coronavirus cases.
In fact, you will notice that more or less all the countries that find a spot on the list of popular tourist destinations, a huge number of coronavirus cases have been witnessed in these countries France, Spain, Italy, UK, Germany. These are the countries with the highest number of coronavirus cases in Europe and these countries emerge at the top with regards to tourism.
Talking about the US specifically, in comparison to Spain, France, and Italy a lot more Chinese students travel to the USA for studies.
Many more Chinese businessmen carry out their business dealings in the USA.
So, there was more interaction with the Chinese people in the USA due to which it spread a lot more in the USA.
And this, in my opinion, is the biggest reason why at this point in time.
We have seen a relatively fewer number of cases of Coronavirus in India as compared to the USA and European Countries.
Because there isn't too much movement of the Chinese people-to and fro from India.
How many Chinese students study in India as compared to the USA and other European countries?
How many Chinese businessmen conduct their dealings in India as compared to the USA and other European countries?
Very few of them.
This could be why the number of coronavirus cases (in India) has not risen so much. This could be one of the reasons.
Late Lockdowns in the USA due to Coronavirus ( Chinese Virus)
Late lockdown is another huge reason responsible for the worsening condition in the USA.The first lockdown in the USA was announced on 19th March in the state of California but by that time, there were already over 14,000 cases in the entire country.
Compare that to (the situation in ) India when the lockdown was announced how many cases were reported in the entire country?
So, the USA responded extremely late.
Even today, as of 27th March, only 21 out of 50 US states are in a lockdown.
That means that only 61% of the US population is in lockdown. 39% of the US population is not under a lockdown which means that they are carrying on with their everyday lives and shops are still open which could easily increase the spread of the virus.
Trump's Response regarding Coronavirus ( Chinese Virus)
Furthermore, strong leadership on behalf of the US President Donald Trump was absent in preparing for this virus.
What actions should be taken by the government in order to control the virus whether a lockdown should be enforced or not, how exactly should the Government hospitals be prepared?
Donald Trump was highly confused on all these fronts.
At this point in time when lockdowns haven't been enforced well throughout the country, Donald Trump says that he is hopeful that the lockdowns will be retracted by the time Easter arrives and people would be able to mingle with each other and go to Churches.
If you aren’t aware, Easter is a Christian holiday that falls on the 12th of April.
It is around the corner.
No health expert or scientist believes that lockdowns can be retracted by then.
Donald Trump is still giving hopes to the people that he would withdraw the lockdowns by then.
Last week in the USA, about 3.3 million people filed claims of unemployment- that they have become unemployed.
The number shot up so suddenly. No one could have expected this.
This is a record in the history of the USA that so many people, all together, have filed an unemployment claim.
On top of that, the market has taken such a severe hit that the people of the opposition allege that
Donald Trump cares more about the economy of the USA in comparison to the lives of the people.
His priority is to save the economy even if it comes at the expense of people dying.
Some share of the blame is to be attributed to the people as well because when the Government had asked people not to step out of their homes, a lot of young people and students were found vacationing at beaches.
When asked why they had stepped out in an interview, they replied that We have nothing to lose. If we contract the Coronavirus- then so be it. Nothing can be done about it.
And finally, another reason is that testing commenced quite late in the US.
The Central Government did not grant permission to the State Heath Departments and Local Health Departments to develop their own test kits.
The permission was granted very late and thus proper testing started off very late.
Is Coronavirus ( Chinese Virus ) a biological weapon by China?
Has coronavirus been developed by China as a biological weapon? Is it ammunition?This is something that you must have heard a lot on WhatsApp.
In fact, this is a conspiracy theory that even the US politicians have reiterated time and again.
That this has been developed by China so that it can attack other countries and kill the people and so that it can become a superpower this way.
There is no legit proof behind this conspiracy theory.
Scientists believe that this is just a fake conspiracy theory and there’s no credible proof for it to be true.
Interestingly though, it is being propagated in China that this coronavirus is a biological weapon developed by the USA to be used against China.
Conspiracy theorists from both the countries are pointing fingers at one another and claim that the other party has developed the virus in order to attack them.
The US-China Conflict
Tensions between the USA and China have amplified after the coming of this virus.On the 19th of February, China expelled 3 journalists of Wall Street because they had written articles in which they were accusing China.
In response to this, the US slashed the quota of Chinese State Media so that the people belonging to Chinese State Media working as journalists in the US can’t work anymore.
In a counter-response to that, China expelled even more US journalists.
For example, the journalists from the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Washington Post.
So a battle of tit for tat has been waging between the USA and China.
That we will expel your journalists if you expel ours.
The Foreign Minister of Taiwan sent a personal invitation to these journalists who were expelled from China.
They (have been given the offer to) seek refuge in their country for they would not let anything happen to them.
You must already be aware of the situation between China and Taiwan.
China basically believes that Taiwan is a part of China and it keeps trying to convince the other countries of the world that Taiwan is not an independent country and that China and Taiwan are both the same country.
Obviously, the rival countries of China consider Taiwan to be an independent country and China’s allies consider Taiwan to be a part of China.
In fact, the WHO (World Health Organization) too has been accused of dancing to China’s tunes.
For instance, there was an interview in which a journalist asked what was the situation in Taiwan with regards to the Coronavirus and a top official of WHO refused to answer.
He denied accepting Taiwan as an existent independent country. He can be seen disconnecting the calls. Take a look for yourself.
In response, the USA has passed a TAIPEI act to show that it supports Taiwan and that it recognizes Taiwan as an independent country, separate from China.
Attempts to diminish China's influence on WHO is being made.
In response to all of this, Donald Trump has been seen taking out personal grudges against China.
For example, he refers to COVID 19 as the Chinese virus.
He wants to directly blame China for this.
Such accusations lead to an escalation of racist crimes against the Chinese people.
We have been witnessing in our country how, in the past few days, harassment and assault cases against the North-Eastern people have increased.
People have been teasing and abusing them just because they look different from us.
This is an absolutely unjust behavior that needs to be put an end to.
I fail to understand who these people are- who want to vent their ire over the common public.
Just because they need to put the blame on someone, they start to blame anyone!
